Everyone who ever dyed their hair knows the feeling of nervosity. What seemed like a good idea certainly feels like a – what got to me – kind of feeling. Luckily this world gave us amazing experts who really know what they are doing when it comes to coloring hair. I received an invitation of Cosmo Hairstyling Roelantdreef to stop by at their beautiful hair salon for a coloring. Sneak peak: I love my new hair!
Cosmo Hairstyling Roelantdreef is located in shopping mall Overvecht, but they also have a location in the heart of Leidsche Rijn. After entering the salon I was happily welcomed by my hairdresser Nikita. I felt a little nervous at the beginning, but there was definitely no need to. Nikita helped me to decide what to do with my hair. I wanted to get a nice color that matches my face without any outgrow in my hair after a few weeks. The solution for me seemed to be a balayage: a technique for highlighting hair with a natural-looking effect.
If you want to get a balayage done make sure to reserve some time: it took almost 4 hours in total for the whole treatment. But what a treatment I got! As everyone knows, hair dye is not the best thing for your hair. At Cosmo Hairstyling they kept that in mind and gave me an Olaplex treatment as well. This treatment helps to restore damaged hair perfectly. When the was withdrawn I also got a toner in my hair. This helps to retract all the yellow and orange glow out of my hair. When Nikita was done she also styled my hair with a blow-out. I was more than ready for a night out with my new hair!
