Never have I ever.. undergone a beauty treatment. So, when the invitation came to try out the new Olaplex treatment and get a bikini wax at Cosmo x Delete, I was very interested. Because would it really be worth it? My answer? Yes, it is really worth it! So hear me out!

My hair needed some love
I just came back from a vacation to Latin America and my hair was really dry. Next to that I was moving to Sydney so a bikini wax wasn’t a bad idea. Because I was a bit late (stuck in the train) I wasn’t able to drop by Delete. But they still had time for me at Cosmo Hairstyling! Quincy, a hair stylist and Olaplex guru, told me all about the treatment.

Olaplex facts
Olaplex is a patented chemistry and is used in Cosmo Hair salons. Some facts:

  • It is perfect for hair that needs treatment after a vacation
Do you style or colour your hair regularly? Olaplex will restore any broken bonds
    It works in three steps

The three steps include a hair repair with shampoo. The second stage is to rebuild and restore broken bonds and with step three your hair is protected against ongoing damage back home. After the treatment, your hair will feel really soft and is super shiny!

Touch up
Because I was going on a lunch date with friends I got a quick touch up. After 15 minutes (for 15 euro) my hair was super nice and curly. Made a mental note for myself to definitely use this when I am going to a wedding!

Bikini wax at Delete
Because I was really curious about the wax I rescheduled. A week later I was back in Utrecht with some healthy reluctance. I wasn’t sure if it would be really painful but I must say it isn’t that bad. Still it is not the best feeling in the world, but it is for a good cause because three weeks later the hairs are still (mostly) gone. Good to know; the wax angels (in my case Felicia) at Delete are really professional and are done in 20 minutes.
