A glass of vino on a gorgeous, sunny day on the Neude in Utrecht is almost unsurpassable in terms of relaxation and people spotting in my opinion.

If you make your way through the numerous student bars, cafes and restaurants, you’ll find Wijncafé Lefebvre perched peacefully on the corner of the Neude – in full view of the afternoon and evening sun. Not only is their wine list extensive and delicious, their borrel menu means you definitely won’t need to move anywhere all afternoon.

House wines are priced per glass in three different categories; 3,75, 4,75 and 5,75 with each category offering 4 whites, 1 rose and 4 red wines to choose from.  I’m a consistent Sauvignon Blanc kinda girl but let me know your favourite – always happy to try something new!

FYI: Don’t forget to keep your eye on their Facebook page which highlights new deals and their partnership with Filmcafe Oskar!

Dutchie Laura lived in Utrecht for 10 years. And the Domcity has developed ever since. More and more coffee bars have popped up and there are a lot of places to grab a sandwich on the go or stay for work. Best of all, Utrecht has a wide variety in of restaurants. Laura’s favorite? Anything with sushi, pasta, Indian, vegetarian, burgers, fish, meat, classic French… she’s not picky at all!
