Yum yum! A great place to pick up some delicious Indonesian food is the very centrally located, Santai Indo Food & Take Away.

I have never personally been a huge fan of indonesian food as I find it quite bland in comparison to other south-east asian cuisines (self confessed asian-food snob) – however the food here set my taste buds alight! Tom and I went for a couple lunch-time rolls as a new and tasty alternative to the regular Broodje Mario (just a couple doors down). The quality of beef in the Rendang was great and the touch of fresh chilli was exactly what I needed. Their house-made ice tea is also something to write home about!

From the outside, many pass with trepidation but believe me when I say it’s worth stepping inside.

Don’t miss out on their home delivery service which can now be ordered via thuisbezorgd.nl/santai.

Make this your new go-to Indo food location!

Dutchie Laura lived in Utrecht for 10 years. And the Domcity has developed ever since. More and more coffee bars have popped up and there are a lot of places to grab a sandwich on the go or stay for work. Best of all, Utrecht has a wide variety in of restaurants. Laura’s favorite? Anything with sushi, pasta, Indian, vegetarian, burgers, fish, meat, classic French… she’s not picky at all!
