Last year we visited The Jack Rabbit for the first time, and we were amazed by the food. Now they have a new menu and introduced the shared dining concept. We had no other choice than visit the restaurant again!

Costs: €7 – €14 for a shared (small) dish. Location: Neude 30D

Their new menu is based on Mediterrasian comfort food. We’ve tried so many delicious dishes that we couldn’t choose a favourite. We started with some flat bread followed up by the Tuna Taki and a delicious salad. After this it was time for some meat. We’ve tried dishes with pork, lamb and beef! And last, but not least they surprised us with the desert Chocolate Delice, which is really a must.

Besides their menu is their luxury big terrace one of their best things. With heaters, cozy seats and stylish bar tables they created a great outside spot right in the heart of Utrecht. We started off our night with some craft beers while enjoying watching the people passing by.

Something we immediately recognized was their amazing tableware. They use a lot of different tableware, one even more beautiful than the other. We’ve experienced that it really cheered us up when we saw all those fine-looking tables. Another plus is the comfy corners they’ve created inside the restaurant. From long tables until comfy couches: If you are looking for a chill spot to drink a coffee and read your newspaper, The Jack Rabbit is a great place to do so!
